Blackjack Buddy - Your Ultimate Basic Blackjack Strategy Tool

If you’re serious about improving your blackjack game, you already know that basic strategy is the foundation for minimizing the house edge. But memorizing the entire basic strategy chart? Not always easy — especially in the heat of the moment. That’s why I built Blackjack Buddy, a simple tool that tells you the best move based on your hand and the dealer’s up card.
In my latest YouTube video, I put Blackjack Buddy to the test and show exactly how it works in real blackjack scenarios. Whether you're a new player trying to learn or a seasoned one looking for a fast cheat sheet, this tool is built to help you play smarter.
🔍 How Blackjack Buddy Works
The interface is super clean and easy to use. Here’s how it works:
Select the dealer's up card (2 through Ace).
Select your hand total — whether it’s a hard total, soft hand, or a pair.
The tool immediately suggests the optimal move:
Hit
Stand
Double
Surrender (if applicable)
The logic is based entirely on tried-and-true basic blackjack strategy, the same one used by professionals and advantage players alike to bring the house edge down to as low as 0.5% when played correctly.
You can use it to practice hands, double-check decisions while watching blackjack streams, or even run mock sessions to build muscle memory.
🎥 What I Showed in the Video
In the video, I walk through:
How to use the tool step-by-step
Several real game examples to see how it responds
Why each recommendation is made, based on core blackjack principles
How Blackjack Buddy compares to old-school printed strategy charts
My thoughts on how it can improve your decision-making quickly
Whether you’re playing online, at a live table, or just trying to study — this tool gives you fast, accurate answers and reinforces correct play patterns over time.
💭 Why I Built It
There are plenty of strategy charts out there, but I wanted something interactive and mobile-friendly. Something that could give players instant answers without flipping through a PDF or trying to memorize a matrix of numbers.
Blackjack Buddy is my answer to that — a quick, intuitive assistant that puts correct play right at your fingertips.
